GIRL'S CAMP

Girl's Camp (Stake Camp) will be June 28th - May 1st at Camp Piuta. We hope everyone is planning on going! It will be so much fun! Sherry Wright is our camp director and she is working so hard to make this a wonderful experience for you girls!!!!!

ALSO.....VOLUNTEER TO HELP LARAINE WHITEAR!!!!! IF YOU'VE DONE YOUR EXPERIENCES, YOU COULD EASILY DO SOMETHING HERE FOR YOUR 10 HOUR PROJECT!!!!

ALSO......TRY TO BRING YOUR PERSONAL PROGRESS BOOKS TO EVERY ACTIVITY.....YOU NEVER KNOW JUST WHAT YOU'LL PASS OFF!

Service Opportunity!!!!

Girls there is plenty of SERVICE needed in our ward!!!!! If you would like to pass off some personal progress hours; PLEASE CONTACT CHRIS WHITEAR. Volunteer to help Laraine. They need people to stay with her. She wants someone to help her write out thank you cards, plant some flowers, help around the house. Do something for Don, for the family! I have some additional ideas (just call me!!!!) (Ronda)

May Happenings!!!

May 12th: Beehives meet at Diane's house at 7:00 p.m. to make Grasshopper Pies!!!!! Yummy!!!

May 18th: Laurels going to the Rescue Mission!!! Meet in front of Sheri's house at 5:45 p.m.

May 19th: Combined Young Men/Young Women "Games" at 7:00 p.m. at the church

May 26th: Personal Progress Activity

APRIL ACTIVITIES

April 14th: We will be going to the Ogden Temple to do baptisms & going for ice cream afterwards! Meet at Sheri's house at 3:00 p.m. (Wear a skirt to school and we will leave immediately after the bus drops you off!) Please make an effort to come join us! Temple work is SO IMPORTANT! It not only blesses those who have passed on.....but it blesses YOU as well. PLEASE JOIN US!!!!
and....DON'T FORGET YOUR RECOMMENDS!!!!!

April 21st: COMBINED ACTIVITY!!!!! Whitear Barn: Line Dancing at 7:00 p.m.!!!!! This will be so much fun! WEAR YOUR COWBOY/COWGIRL GEAR and come ready to DANCE!!!!

April 24th: We've been invited to Layton North Ridge Stake for a youth dance! Ages 14-18. There will be dance instruction and food!!!! They will have a DJ and the dance is geared to the 50's and 60's! So dress up and come have fun!!!!! Meet at Sheri's house at 6:30 p.m.

April 28th: Combined YOUNG WOMEN Activity: Lisa Gates will get you more information on this!

Looking forward:
May 5th: Stake YW Kickball tournament at the Bowery Park!!!!!

MISSIONARY NIGHT.....

We hope you all had wonderful experiences with Missionary Night. We are VERY grateful to the families who offered their homes and food that night. If you young women have a free minute, maybe take a moment to write a little "thank you" note to the family you visited with. That would be awesome! :)
